Costumes 2011

SHOCKER!!! I am posting a picture the same day it was taken.

Here is our Gang for Halloween. We finally got it together enough to put together a real family theme.

And just for those of you who may not be Nintendo savvy here is a run down of Characters:

John - Mario (Hero)

Papa - Luigi (Mario's older brother)

Vivian - Princess Peach (Damsel always in distress)

Theodore - Toadstool (Princess Peach's servant)

Michael - Bowser (Villain)

Lorina - Bob-omb (Bowser's wind-up minion)

Nana - Fire Flower (Power-up for Mario that gives him the ability to shoot fire balls)

Lawrence - Star (Prize for Mario when he accomplishes something)

Nana made Vivian's Dress and I did the rest of the accessories. I sewed a little but used a lot of hot glue. We found Michael's Turtle costume at Goodwill. The red and blue T-shirts were bought and so were Theodore's pants. I think it came together quite nicely. We will have to put on the costumes again to get better individual shots.
